Bernedoodles
Bernedoodles are a cross between the Bernese Mountain dog and the Standard Poodle.
Bernese Mountain dogs (BMD) originated in the Swiss Mountains. BMD's are a very multifaceted breed and were used for draft work to pull carts, herd cattle and guard livestock as well as companionship. While sometimes slow to mature this bred is still smart and loyal. These traits infused with poodles help to make the Bernedoodles a wonderful family addition. Personality, combined with the striking color traits of the breed have made it one of the fastest growing doodles. While the classic Tri color and phantom (tan pointes) are the most sought after color patterns they come in a range of colors and patterns including sable, parti, red and tuxedo to name a few.
